How Does Same-Day Boarding from Bali Work?
Most Komodo liveaboards leave Labuan Bajo harbor in the late morning. The DPS–LBJ flight takes about 1 hour 10 minutes, so a departure from Denpasar between 06:00 and 09:00 lands you with comfortable margin before boarding. This is the core logic of the package: we only ticket you on flights that fit your specific boat’s cast-off time, with buffer built in.
Delays happen, and this is where a bundled booking earns its keep. Because we control both the flight ticket and the boat, we have three responses in order of preference: hold the boat’s departure (always possible on a private charter, often possible on open trips), arrange a speedboat catch-up to the first anchorage when the vessel must sail on schedule, or re-sequence the first day’s stops so nothing on your itinerary is lost. How to Book a Package
The process is deliberately short:
- 1. Send dates and group size on WhatsApp. Tell us your preferred travel window, how many travelers, and your Bali hotel area if you want pickup.
- 2. Receive a matched proposal. We reply with boat options, a flight schedule that fits the boarding time, and a single all-in price per person or per group.
- 3. Confirm with a deposit. Once you approve, we secure the cabin or charter and issue your flight tickets under your passport names.
- 4. Get your trip document. One PDF: flight details, pickup time, driver contact, boat name, itinerary, and packing notes.
- 5. Travel. Your only job on departure day is to be in your hotel lobby at the stated time.
